Halliwells graduates

ApplyApply

There is no such thing as a typical Halliwells candidate. Naturally, excellent academics are essential but we also look for that little bit more from our potential trainees.

Yes, we seek candidates with a minimum of 300 UCAS points (with at least one A at A-level) and a 2:1 gained or predicted at degree level but beyond this we also seek individuality, enthusiasm, an analytical mind, ability to put your point across and commitment to a career with Halliwells.

We recruit from law and non law backgrounds, a variety of universities, any age group and all walks of life. Applications from graduates in any discipline and from candidates seeking a change in career are also welcome. Each application is considered on its individual merits.

We operate a joint online system for summer placement scheme and training contract applications.

Candidates for the summer placement scheme are selected on the basis of their online application form alone. All candidates are contacted after the application deadline of 28 February. Places on our summer placement scheme are popular and we are often unable to make all the offers we would like. If you are not successful in securing a placement you will not need to re-apply. Your application will be reconsidered for a training contract at the end of July.

If your application for a training contract is successful, you will be invited to attend an assessment day at the office you have applied to. The day will consist of an individual presentation, a group exercise and a panel interview. All candidates are contacted after the application deadline of 31 July.
