Halliwells Acts on Largest Office Leasing Deal in Liverpool’s History

Halliwells has successfully completed the largest office leasing deal in Liverpool's history on behalf of the Downing property Group. The deal involves of 220,000 sq ft of high quality Grade A equivalent refurbished space in The Capital, one of Liverpool's most iconic buildings.

The deal with UK Border Agency will see over 2000 government staff under one roof and involved a team of over 20 lawyers drafting and agreeing over 100 completion documents involving not only UKBA but existing anchor tenant RSA.

The Halliwells team was led by client relationship partner Kevin Lee with Real Estate partners Mark Gaffney, Alex McCann and Construction partner Ron Farrell taking managing roles.
